Grand mothers class room

 In rural South Korea, some schools are saving themselves from closure by welcoming an unexpected group of students: grandmothers. 

As birth rates fall and classrooms empty, schools like Bangrim Primary have opened their doors to elderly women who never learned to read or write.

Instead of shutting down, these schools now host seniors like 72-year-old Park Go-ee, who studies alongside young children. 

This creative solution keeps the schools running while giving older women a second chance at education, boosting their confidence and mental well-being in a rapidly aging society.
