Dogs with celebrity faces sold for 100,000 each

Artist Beeple’s new installation “Regular Animals” at Art Basel Miami Beach features robot dogs with lifelike masks of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol.

Seven robots were sold to private collectors for $100,000 each but still allowed to tour the fair.

The dogs walk around, take photos, then squat and release 1,028 art prints labeled “Excrement Sample.”

Beeple says the work highlights how tech leaders shape what people see through powerful algorithms, reflecting how modern life is filtered through AI and robotics. Social media users called it “genuinely terrifying” and “beyond disturbing.”
